Hello internet peoples. My name is Adam Jay Weissman & I am a filmmaker and musician. I studied film at Art Center College of Design and taught myself to make music. I am the founding member of the Los Angeles based music entity, Pollyn and have been making beats on my SP1200 for the last 15 years under the alias, Sample208 (hence the name of the website).

I have written & directed projects for Nike, Stussy, as well as my own short films. They have been released inside art books, broadcast on the world wide web & screened internationally.

The music I create with Pollyn has been licensed for TV shows (ABC's Life as You Know It), commercials and indie films (This Girl's Life). I have remixed songs by Gorillaz ("D.A.R.E"), Buffalo Daughter ("Socks, Drugs & Rock n' Roll") & Liquid Liquid ("Optimo"), and co- wrote a song with Ian Astbury for U.N.K.L.E's album War Stories ("When Things Explode").

Currently, I am finishing the Pollyn album, entitled This Little Night and writing some funny shit.
