Hello. My name is Adam Jay Weissman and I'm filmmaker and musician. I have a degree in film from Art Center College of Design and taught myself to compose music. I am the founding member of the Los Angeles band, Pollyn and have been making beats on my SP1200 for the last 15 years under the alias, Sample208 (hence the name of the website).

As a freelance filmmaker I have written and directed over 25 projects (short films, a web series, and documentaries) for high profile brands that include Nike and Stussy. My work has been released inside art books, broadcast on the world wide web & screened at festivals around the world.

The music I create with Pollyn has been licensed for TV shows (ABC's Life as You Know It, Showtime's United States of Tara), commercials and indie films (This Girl's Life). We have remixed songs by Gorillaz ("D.A.R.E"), Buffalo Daughter ("Socks, Drugs & Rock n' Roll"), Liquid Liquid ("Optimo"), Health ("Before Tigers") and were featured on Urb Magazine's Next 100 in 2007. Our self released album, This Little Night, was # 69 on KCRW's most played album of 2009.
